The May 2026 edition of the IRMO Brief, authored by Lea Fabić, examines Greenland’s growing importance in Arctic security amid rising global interest in the mineral-rich island. Greenland’s strategic significance has increased as climate change reshapes the Arctic, opening new economic opportunities and making the island an attractive partner for major powers.
