The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Lives and Socialization of Youth

Nov 18, 2024 | Center, News

On Monday, November 18, Dr. Emina Bužinkić held a workshop titled Youth and the Social Impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic at the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Ethnology at the University of Ljubljana. This workshop was the first in a series of three sessions exploring the limitations and possibilities of socialization, education, work, mental health, and political orientations of young people during and after the pandemic. Our research combines methods of memory storytelling and critical discourse analysis in the classroom.

The next workshops are planned at the Faculty of Education in Bihać and the Faculty of Education at the University of Rijeka. These workshops are being conducted as the concluding part of the transatlantic project ENDURE: Inequalities, Community Resilience and New Governance Modalities in a Post-Pandemic World, funded by the Croatian Science Foundation.
