The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) has assembled a consortium for the Horizon Europe project application under the call Fostering equity and justice in climate policies – Societal Readiness Pilot. The consortium includes partners from northern (Norway, the Netherlands) and southern Europe (Portugal, Croatia), as well as from Africa (Kenya, South Africa and Zambia).
With co-financing from the Norwegian Science Foundation, a workshop for the development of the project application was held in Nairobi in August 2025, which included a visit to a biogas pilot plant. The aim of the workshop was to get to know the partners, elaborate their roles, develop the methodological framework and agree on a work plan until the submission of the project application.
The project application includes three partners from Croatia, Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO), the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar and the Society for the Design of Sustainable Development (DOOR).
IRMO scientist Ana-Maria Boromisa, PhD, participated in the workshop.
