Ana-Maria Boromisa, PhD, participated in teaching within the International Material Flow Management graduate programme at Yantai University in China, continuing a successful collaboration that has now entered its fourth consecutive year.
Together with Maja Božičević Vrhovčak, PhD, from the Energy Institute Hrvoje Požar, Dr. Boromisa teaches the course “Economic Aspects of Sustainable Energy Systems” in the second year of the graduate programme. The course comprises 60 hours of instruction and covers the technical, economic, and environmental dimensions of sustainable energy systems, with a particular focus on the economic evaluation of energy projects, sustainability assessment, and the challenges of the energy transition.
The International Material Flow Management programme is jointly offered by Trier University of Applied Sciences, through its Institute for Applied Material Flow Management (IfaS), and Yantai University. The programme provides students with interdisciplinary knowledge in sustainable resource management, the circular economy, and energy transition within an international academic environment.
Dr. Boromisa’s continued involvement in the programme reflects the strong and long-standing cooperation between the partner institutions and contributes to the international exchange of knowledge and expertise in the fields of sustainable development and energy systems.
