Research Adviser at the Institute for Development and International Relations, Sandro Knezović, PhD, participated at the 26th Seminar on European Integration Processes for Diplomats from Central, Eastern and South-Eastern Europe, organised by the Hanns Seidel Foundation and the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia (Dubrovnik, 7 – 10 October 2024).
The seminar discussed the phenomena of migration and its impact on European and regional environment in Southeast Europe. The necessity for continuation of intensive regional and European co-operation was emphasised, in order to ensure functional mechanisms to tackle contemporary migration trends. He held a presentation entitled ‘Migration and Security’ and used his participation at the event to promote the Institute and its work.
