Economic Institute Skopje, in cooperation with IRMO, is organizing the international scientific conference „ Sustainable Development for Sustainable Future “, to be held in Skopje on October 9-10, 2025.
The aims of this conference is to explore a range of cutting-edge microeconomic and macroeconomic solutions that foster sustainability while enabling economic resilience, economic growth and social inclusivity. The conference seeks to shed light on innovative strategies, economic policies, and business models and practices that drive economic resilience while ensuring environmental and social sustainability and long-term prosperity at both micro and macro levels.
The conference will focus on several important macroeconomic and microeconomic topics, including the impact of climate change on economic growth and labour market transformation, sustainable trade and global value chains, green fiscal policies and taxation, public debt and green investments, the development of sustainable entrepreneurship and innovation, green jobs and skills, corporate social responsibility, and more.
