IRMO’s Emina Bužinkić, PhD, at ISA Forum of Sociology in Rabat

The ISA Forum of Sociology Knowing Justice in the Anthropocene was held in Rabat, Morocco, from 6 to 12 July. Hosted for the first time in the MENA region, the Forum gathered scholars from around the world for intense academic exchanges and public engagements at Mohammed V University.

Emina Bužinkić, PhD, from the Institute for Development and International Relations (IRMO) contributed to discussions on educational inequalities, politics of exclusion, surveillance, and belonging. She presented her research papers “Storying Social Distancing with SWANA Refugee Youth” and “Anti-Muslim Racism at the European Periphery: Race in the Balkans,” offering critical insights into migration, race, and the dynamics of inclusion and exclusion in contemporary Europe.
