Damir Demonja, Ph.D., Scientific advisor in tenure, was appointed as a member of the Scientific Field Committee for the interdisciplinary scientific field – different scientific areas and fields, for the period from 2024 to 2028. The decision on the appointment was made by the National Council for Higher Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Croatia, and it chose from among the candidates who applied to the Public Call for nominations for members of the scientific field committees. The Scientific Field Committee for the interdisciplinary scientific field – different scientific areas and fields has nine members, andit‘s work is regulated by the Ordinance on the structure, jurisdiction and manner of work of the scientific field committees (Official Gazette 3/2024), which was adopted by the Ministry of Science and Education of the Republic of Croatia. Scientific field committees carry out part of the procedure for scientific positions and make the final decision on the appointments.
